Operation SpyHard is a series created by Michael Hill. It features a group of genetically enhanced super powered secret agents who conduct covert missions for the United Nations Security Council. The series follows the Bourne Identity, James Bond and Mission Impossible action-adventure formula, with the agents being an homage to mainstream super heroes. Unlike mainstream heroes, however, these agents aren't self-appointed civilian vigilantes. Plot Operation SpyHard is a top-secret shadow op's program of the United Nations Security Council. It recruits only from the most elite soldiers in the world and was formed in direct response to the severe need for high threat level international security enforcement in order to protect the world from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity. It uses behavior modification training and genetic enhancement engineering to make the agents extremely effective nearly unstoppable living weapons. The agents also received specialized training in highly advanced weaponry, expert hand to hand combat techniques, and tradecraft in order to prevent or take collective action against mass atrocities. Summary SpyHard headquarters is located in an vast sub-level fortress beneath U.N. headquarters in New York City. Its membership consists of several agents, who are essentially super powered operatives, who are stationed in several countries around the world. As sleeper agents they lead normal lives as regular citizens until "activated". At this point they can be quickly sent on missions after which they resume their daily lives until called upon again. Agents SpyHard operatives are very capable and adaptable agents. They leave absolutely no trace of their existence. SpyHard agents are meant to be "invisible," meaning that they don't make mistakes and they don't do random. There's always an objective, always a target. SpyHard operatives are highly trained in numerous combat techniques such as turning any object into non lethal weapons. They are superhumanly proficient at using their unique abilities as well as firearms or other weapons, sharpshooting, explosives, operating vehicles, advanced hand-to-hand combat, and many martial arts techniques. All SpyHard agents have excellent observational skills, heightened target awareness, lightning reflexes, peak physical condition, stamina, keen senses, escape and evasion abilities, and mental process which also gives them the ability to think quickly and calmly in stressful situations. These agents are used for covert missions against oppressive dictators, terrorists, evil organizations, public enemies, assassins, and crime lords. On occasion, they also mount unsanctioned, private missions on behalf of its members. SpyHard has two separate functions, tactical paramilitary operations and covert political action. They are responsible for covert activities related to international political influence, environmental hazards, psychological and economic warfare. The rapid development of technology has added cyber warfare to their mission. A large covert operation usually has components that involve many, or all, of these categories, as well as paramilitary operations. They are also responsible for operations which include the collection of intelligence in hostile countries and regions, and all high threat military or intelligence operations with which the U.N. does not wish to be overtly associated. As such, members of the unit do not carry any objects or clothing (e.g., military uniforms) that would associate them with any country associated with the United Nations . If they are compromised during a mission, any associated government of the United Nations may deny all knowledge. Overview As the action arm of the UNSC, SpyHard conducts military direct action missions such as raids, ambushes, sabotage, targeted threat elimination and unconventional warfare. SpyHard also conducts special reconnaissance, that can be either military or intelligence driven, but is carried out in "non-permissive environments". They are also fully trained to conduct clandestine human intelligence operations throughout the world. SpyHard has several missions. One of these missions is the recruiting, training, and leading of indigenous forces in combat operations. SpyHard and its operatives have been used when it was considered desirable to have plausible deniability about U.N. support. Unlike other special missions units, SpyHard operatives combine special operations and clandestine intelligence capabilities in one individual. These individuals can operate in any environment (sea, air or ground) with limited to no support. Agents are also trained in portraying and maintaining alternate identities when necessary for them to infiltrate restricted areas, collect Intel, and accomplish mission objectives. They use high definition digital bio-image projectors that they can program to give them the sound and appearance of whatever person they need to imitate in order for them to gain inside access Due to the super secrecy of this operation, operatives must also avoid at all costs from being intercepted, apprehended and/or detained by any other clandestine agency, organization, government or military in the world including CIA. FBI, or MI6.
